Matt Johnson is currently a consultant for the Indiana IEP Resource Center. Matt’s work focuses mainly in development and support of Indiana’s statewide IEP program. He works with the Indiana Department of Education and stakeholders to continually improve the system and insure it aligns with federal and state requirements. In addition, Matt provides professional development and technical assistance to schools and school districts primarily on writing measurable, standards aligned IEP goals. He joined the Indiana IEP resource center in 2007 and has enjoyed 25 years working in the field of special education first as a classroom teacher and now as a consultant. Matt holds a Masters in Education from Walden University.
